XIX.“Temptation”

-to the adversary

 

The temptation is to fall

To the lie that you aren’t already defeated,

Shying away and allowing past mistakes to pervade present reality

Deceived by the fabrication that you have any power in my life

Or my future

 

But you and I both know I am in God’s hands.

I lean on His strength.

Every hindrance and distraction will fall.

I settle for nothing less than His best.
